Hey Android users! Looks like a lot of you are using the swipe-to-save feature we recently added (fist pump), so we decided to make it even better! Now you can choose which collection you swipe to save to! Tap the Magic icon and try it - it’s weirdly satisfying.
We’re also working to make the Magic feed even more responsive and even more magical. So keep swiping and shoot us a note at email@example.com to tell us what you think! Real hardcore amazingness is in the works.

Hello! Good to see you again!
We have got a ton of great feedback about the Magic feed and the swipe-to-save interface. Sounds like you like it :) So we made it better! And added it to iPad!
Now *you* can make your Wanelo better with every product you save. When you swipe to save from the Magic feed, it’s like you’re talking to Wanelo and Wanelo listens (not in a creepy way). The more you use it, the better it gets! Soon it will get out of hand (in a good way).
What else? Store pages are starting to look more like profiles, as stores get hip to what’s going on here (have you been seeing all those Wanelo buttons out there?) And we’ve made the app faster to open and use. More soon. Email us your thoughts at firstname.lastname@example.org, and please feel free to leave more awesome and hilarious reviews! We love them. Maybe we’ll even get one embroidered.

Historically, stores on Wanelo have always had two pages:
1. a store page that aggregates all the products from that store, and
2. a store user profile that lets store owners post products and get creative by posting stories and organizing collections.
We know this has been confusing for users to decide which account to follow and also difficult for stores to decide which account to promote.
We’ve loved the creative part, but we’ve hated the confusion.
That’s why, over the next few weeks, store pages on Wanelo will be getting a new look and feel as these two pages are merged together into store accounts. Store accounts give stores a new level of editorial control, and make it easier for stores to connect with fans. You can see an example of a store account here: http://wanelo.com/baublebar
So, what’s different?
Stores are getting a direct URL.
A store’s URL will now be structured as wanelo.com/storename, rather than wanelo.com/store/storename. This makes a Wanelo store easier to find and promote.
Collections will take front and center.
Collections offer stores the ability to curate products in meaningful ways. Right now, a user visiting a store’s page is greeted with a stream of the most recently posted products without any organization. Store accounts put collections right up front, allowing store owners to merchandise their account in the same way they might their own site. The catch is that a store’s page will only be as good as its collections, so we’re encouraging store owners to get active in categorizing their items (the new organize button helps make it a cinch).
When will the changes take place?
Store accounts are being rolled out in phases over the next few weeks.
What if I have questions?
We want to hear from you! Please email us at email@example.com.

It all started with a Store Owners page on our site. We made a destination with all the Wanelo 101 info a store would need to get started, and that was enough.
But as time passed, stores started getting pretty clever with Wanelo. From tapping influencers to hosting contests, they were finding ways to use Wanelo that even we hadn’t thought of and they were sharing some crazy success stories.
These tips and tricks were just too good to keep to ourselves, and we wanted all the stores on Wanelo to be having the same victories.
Our new Wanelo Stores blog will give store owners practical advice on how to optimize their presence, incorporate Wanelo into their site, and leverage new features. We’re kicking it off with a new best practices guide designed to give some actionable tips stores can start using today.
All that seriousness aside though, we don’t love “rules” around here. That’s why we create a product that’s dangerously fun, so take these best practices as suggestions, but do keep blowing our mind with wild new uses of Wanelo!

Basically, you’ve been asking, and we’ve been listening.
Beside the new magic feed in your life, we have something more magical happening. It’s like a unicorn is about to show up at your doorstep, so here goes it!
WANELO IS OPENING ITS FIRST MALL!!!!! (Yes, it’s an all caps required situation.)
We know right now you’re probably screaming, texting, tweeting, snapchatting, and ‘gramming this to all your people to spread the news: #wanelomall
So the deets:
We are opening our first mall later this year in Providence, Rhode Island. For realsies.
One of the biggest struggles in securing the first mall location was simply finding a property large enough to hold all the 12 million products you can find on Wanelo. After months of searching and scouring, we found an abandoned mall to transform into an IRL version of Wanelo. Um yea, it’s a dream come true.
The next tricky thing is figuring out how to make everything fit inside our new location. Probably with reallllly tall racks. We’ve been having a ridiculous amount of fun figuring it out still, especially finding all the catzz for our new mall.
Stay tuned for more! Because when we announce the Grand Opening date, we hope to offer massive Wanelo discounts and awesome raffle prizes to the first 1,500 people who wait in line overnight before our big day later this year. The first 500 lucky folks will get a lifetime’s worth of free Squishables, and you all know how Deena feels about Squishables!
Here’s a sneak peek of the early design of our mall!
Oh, and BTW, APRIL FOOLS!!!!!!
Sorry, this may have been too good to be true, but know that we love you forever and ever like Kate Moss and pizza slices.

Oh hello! We hope you’re having a good day out there, and we sincerely hope it’s about to get better thanks to this update!
It contains magic for iPhone and iPod users. Literally. Seriously. Check out the new Magic feed of interesting products cooked up just for you, based on the products you’ve been saving. It changes as you save new things, and as other people who save things similar to your things save things. You can view them one at a time if you want and swipe to save the good ones. It’s a powerful force and not something to be used while operating heavy machinery. If you use it while walking, don’t forget to look up!
We also made a slew of small improvements based on your feedback, and made profiles more screenshot-friendly.
Tell us what you think and what you would like, and if you appreciate what we’ve been doing, leave us a nice review! We read them all and share them. Someday we’ll publish a coffee table book of them.

Bare walls are so overrated. Why not make use of every inch of space? Here are 9 of our favorite reasons to hang it.
A shelf that not only serves as a decorative feature in itself, but also saves you some much-needed cabinet space.
For the truly lazy. No need to fish around in your drawer for that bottle opener; just lean over to the wall and crack your beer open.
Keep your toothbrush clean and out of the way with this handy hook.
Who doesn’t love baskets? Somehow they look even more charming floating in mid-air.
Give your plants the breathing room they need.
Why waste precious floor space with a table, when you can just attach it to the wall?
Finally, a pretty way to put your jewelry on display (and keep it detangled).
Gotta love a two-in-one. Brilliant. Just brilliant.
Easy to store, easier to drink.

As you’ve been browsing around some of your favorite stores’ websites, you may have noticed the Wanelo button floating around. It makes saving awesome items from your favorite sites to Wanelo even easier.
Here are just a few of the (many) sites where you can now find the Wanelo button:

Did you know that March is National Nutrition Month? It’s the perfect time to shed those winter layers (and pounds) in favor of a healthier lifestyle. And it couldn’t come at a better time - just in time for swimsuit season! Staying healthy on the go can be tricky, so we’ve rounded up some of the easiest ways to get you back (and stay) on track!
Nutritious juices filled with healthy greens are a great way of getting energized in the morning or to beat the 3 o’clock slump. Our favorite is from a local SF joint, Juice Shop!
Getting your daily dose of omega-3s has never been more appealing. Simply mix with food or drink, or eat straight from the packet— way better than a pill, if you ask us!
Making your own energy bars from scratch ensures you know every ingredient that goes into them. This cookbook maximizes nutrition and eliminates unhealthy additives for everything from delicious raw protein bars to granola bars.
Hydrate and replenish electrolytes, potassium, calcium and more with coconut water.
Call us kale crazy. We love drizzling olive oil, sprinkling on red pepper flakes, cumin, salt and pepper, and baking for about 15 minutes for a crispy, healthy afternoon pick-me-up.
A superfood packed with fiber, protein and antioxidants, generously sprinkle chia seeds on anything from yogurt to smoothies, and even add them to muffins - in fact, chia seeds can even replace eggs when baking!
